Profile of Sudirman Hj Arshad

Life is not always beautiful, and the beautiful is the memory. On 25th May 1954, born a boy, but no one knew that the baby was going to be a great and beloved by many people. No one also knew the baby will bring honour to the country in the eyes of the world. Married couple, Hj Arshad bin Hj Hassan and Hajah Ramlah bt Dahlan blessed with a baby boy named Sudirman in their lives. Sudirman was born at Jalan Ibrahim in Temerloh, Pahang around mid-May 1954, and becoming the youngest for seven siblings and he has 2 step siblings from different mother.

What is in a name of Sudirman? Actually the name was given by the father. The name is from one of the warrior in Indonesia that was known as a great warrior. So his father decides to give the name to his new baby because he hopes one fine day his son will be such a great person as well. The name of Sudirman itself brings diversity in the way people call him. Sudirman was called as Sudir by his parents.

His sisters and brothers keep calling him as Deman. At the same time, his beloved nephew, Atai loves to use Chokman as his nickname and normally Sudirman was known as Sudi on his friends’ eye. Besides we know he as a great and talented performer, he also good in writing and drawing.
